Question MY PURCHASE HASN'T ARRIVED, HOW LONG SHOULD I WAIT?
ANSWER Your items are usually despatched same day and should be with you in 2-4 working days depending on Royal Mail. If for any reason your item hasn't arrived please allow 10 working days before contacting us as Royal Mail won't deem the parcel lost until this time period has ellapsed. You may then contact us on sales@hornseainkjets.co.uk where we can arrange a replacement or refund.

Question I HAVE RECEIVEVED A WRONG OR FAULTY ITEM OR ORDERED THE WRONG ITEM WHAT SHOULD I DO.
ANSWER Return the item to our freepost address at bottom of this page.
Please include your sale record number, address details and note of why you are returning the item. Also state if you would like replacements or refund. It may be a good idea for you to put a recorded delivery sticker on your return parcel in case it goes astray in the post as we are not responsible for this, If your return parcel was lost YOU are then covered and can claim upto £30.00 back from Royal Mail.

TROUBLE SHOOTING FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS REGARDING CARTRIDGES

EPSON / BROTHER

Please be aware that you cannot use compatible cartridges along side original ones, you must replace the full set with compatibles.
If you have inserted a full set and printer says not recognised take the cartridges from printer, turn printer off and back on and re-insert cartridges pressing firmly in place. Do not touch the chip with you hand as this can also cause problems. On most models of printer the correct ink level will be shown but there are a few printer types that will not show the correct full ink level even though cartridges are full and will print until empty. If for any reason you can't get working which is very rare please try another set. We will always replace any returned faulty items.

HP, LEXMARK, CANON AND DELL

Please be aware that on most remanufactured cartridges the ink level cannot be reset. The cartridge may show half full or empty but be assured we fill all cartridges ourselves and fill each cartridge to higher capacity than originals. Just print as normal and cartridge will work until it is empty.

If for any reason you printer doesn't recognise the chip you can try wiping the copper contacts on the cartridge with soft cloth and warm water.

If you are having a problem with ink not coming out of cartridge, this can sometimes happen with remanufactured cartridges if they develop an air bubble in transit. Try placing the print head of the cartidge on some hot wet kitchen roll for 10 mins as this will draw the ink and clear the air bubble. Then re-insert cartridge and do a print head clean.

If none of the above work just return cartridges to free post address below with your sales record number and address details and note stating replacement or refund required.
